Nylon tip socket set screws by Lexington are available in stainless steel or alloy bodies in
standard and metric sizes with a variety of thread-locking options. Most of our set screws are either cold-formed
or precision-molded, offering unsurpassed dimensional tolerances.
Nylon tip set screws are used to lock agaisnt shafts where insulating value or conforming properties
of nylon are desired. Our set screws lock tight and won't mar the mating surface or the mating
part. For instance, they can be used to lock against fine threads where brass tips would deform
the thread crown, and to remove end play from rotating shafts.
Available in standard or metric sizes ranging from #2-56 thru 1/2"-13. Lengths not listed may
be available on special order.
